Rat Hockey Chicago Pages
This group is about promoting open hockey in the Chicago area, because there simply isn't enough out there today. Open hockey is often called "Rat Hockey", "Pick-Up Hockey" or "Pond Hockey". We promote all types of open hockey, including ice, roller/inline, pond/outdoor and floor hockey in the Chicago area.
Here are just a handful of ways you can take advantage of a membership:
1. You can see who RSVP'd for rat hockey and leave comments or questions about a venue.
2. You are not restricted to the meetups we post. For example, you can let others know you are going to go play some inline hockey at your local park. You set the place, date and time. Your session will be posted so others can RSVP.
3. You can leave reviews and comments about venues and rat hockey sessions.
4. If you purchase private rink time, you can post your sessions to gain more players.
5. Our message boards are available for discussions about leagues, tournaments, clinics and any other general hockey topics.
6. You will gain access to our Perks and Sponsors. For example, take advantage of our Google-powered 'Rat Locator' map of all the rinks in the area, then go check out some hockey places you have never been to.
